Research Technician, Product Development

Role Overview: Join a team with a more than 70-year history of discovery, determination, and innovation at Pall Corporation, a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification. Your role will involve providing lipid nanoparticle formulation, characterization, and routine testing support for new product development projects and existing product support. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project completion and provide technical support to staff and customers as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Craft and perform experiments with input from supervisor - Collect and analyze experimental data, present findings, and outline future plans - Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal trends in data - Support technical documentation related to projects and product development - Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations - Provide technical support and training on laboratory/product protocols - Set up, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment - Ensure availability of laboratory supplies and support lab operations - Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field like chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, nanotechnology, materials science, or biomedical engineering - Minimum 1 year of hands-on lab experience in interdisciplinary research - Ability to independently craft, conduct, analyze, and troubleshoot experiments - Experience in developing nanoparticle formulations, preferably in drug delivery applications - Exposure to working with nucleic acids and proteins - Familiarity with analytical methods and characterization techniques - Curiosity about genetic medicine, biological systems, and understanding of lipid and polymer chemistry - Experience with statistical analyses and computer programming - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to work with minimum supervision - Project management skills are considered an asset Additional Company Details: Precision NanoSystems Inc., part of Pall Corporation, is a biotechnology company focused on creating innovative solutions for the discovery, development, and manufacture of novel nanoparticles for medical research and therapeutic use.
