Research Intern

1. Job Profile: Onsite Role & Location Mumbai (Wadala)

· Role Description: We are hiring a full-time, on-site Research-Intern at Finnovate Financial Services in Mumbai. The Intern will conduct fundamental equity research alongside with our core research team. Responsibilities include performing in-depth analysis of sectors such as BFSI and Defence, as well as other sectors based on macro fundamental developments of listed companies, and providing actionable insights for investment decisions. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for investment strategies. This will be a 6 months Internship.

· Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the senior analysts with in-depth research and analysis of portfolio stocks and sectors. Join an experienced research team serving HNI investors.

- Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.

- Generate concise reports and strategy presentations, including Initiating Coverage, sector thematic & equity research reports, for companies and sectors under coverage.

- Monitor and proactively track key events related to portfolio companies, their peer groups, and the broader industry landscape.

- Support earnings season by listening to conference calls, summarizing key points, and analysing results, including quarterly company updates and event updates.

· Skills required:

- Must possess fundamental knowledge of the stock market, with in-depth understanding of specified sectors (BFSI and Defence), as well as proficiency in financial statements, ratios, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

- Excellent writing and communication skills are pre-requisites.

- Ability to work effectively with a results-oriented focus and a highly disciplined approach to meeting objectives.

- Good organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple activities.

· Educational Qualification

- Currently Pursuing MBA, CFA, CA preferred, but not required.

- Prior experience in the similar field would be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹2,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
