As a Research Associate at ICCE, a dedicated non-profit organization committed to creating positive social change, your role will involve developing, writing, and editing comprehensive project proposals, reports, and documentation for both Indian and international initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying relevant grants, CSR initiatives, and project opportunities. - Drafting and editing proposals, grant applications, and reports for Indian and international projects. - Conducting research to ensure accuracy and relevance in project documentation. - Collaborating with internal teams and experts to gather project insights. - Ensuring clarity, consistency, and high-quality writing across all materials. - Tailoring content for various audiences including donors and regulatory bodies. - Editing and proofreading content for grammar, coherence, and style compliance. - Staying informed on industry trends, best practices, and regulations. - Managing multiple writing tasks with timely delivery. - Supporting project and financial planning meetings. - Contributing content for newsletters, web, and social media when needed. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Journalism, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Research Associate or in a similar role, with exposure to both Indian and international NGO projects. - Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Strong research abilities with a knack for simplifying complex topics into clear, concise content. - Familiarity with project management practices and NGO operations. - Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CMS and project management tools is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of specific sectors relevant to the NGOs work, such as education, healthcare, or environmental sustainability. - Understanding of global and local regulatory requirements and standards for NGOs.
