Are you passionate about transforming complex data into impactful insights As a Research Economist with ISI, you'll play a crucial role in creating detailed industry reports that drive decision-making in emerging markets. Your responsibilities will involve conducting rigorous industry research, crafting high-quality analytical English sector reports, and upholding editorial standards. This position goes beyond research as it offers you the chance to shape the editorial voice of a leading industry publication. Collaborating closely with the Editorial team, you will ensure that each report is polished, precise, and resonates with clients. Furthermore, you will be key in expanding the network of freelance analysts across emerging markets by recruiting, onboarding, and managing talented freelancers to deliver content that meets high standards. By fostering strong relationships and providing continuous feedback, you will help uphold the quality and consistency of publications. You will be responsible for commissioning and writing insightful editorial content for India, managing resources efficiently to ensure timely delivery. Editing industry reports and articles to meet editorial standards, present data accurately, and provide balanced analysis. Collaborating with the Editorial team to refine style guides, contribute to the development of editorial style, and participate in team meetings. Training and supporting freelance analysts, monitoring their work quality, and providing ongoing feedback for continuous improvement. Recruiting and managing a network of freelance analysts, handling hiring and contract management. Leading client-facing initiatives such as meetings, webinars, and presentations at industry conferences. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Economics or Business, an in-depth understanding of the Indian economy, previous experience in industry analysis and writing research publications, exceptional skills in working with large data sets, a keen eye for detail, ability to collaborate effectively within a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English.
