As a Research Associate (Training & Services) at Heredity Biosciences in Guwahati, your role involves supporting laboratory operations, providing training to students, and delivering high-quality genome services. **Key Responsibilities**: - Conduct training sessions for laboratory students on techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, and relevant procedures. - Develop training materials, manuals, and presentations for effective knowledge transfer. - Assist in onboarding new laboratory personnel and provide ongoing training to enhance their skills. - Collaborate with clients to understand their research needs and provide technical assistance in experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting. - Perform laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses as requested, ensuring accurate and timely results. - Adhere to quality control and assurance protocols to ensure accurate and reliable laboratory results. - Monitor and maintain equipment calibration, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues. - Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data using appropriate software tools and statistical methods. - Generate reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and clients. - Maintain accurate laboratory records, including experimental protocols, test results, and inventory management. - Assist in the preparation and review of standard operating procedures, protocols, and laboratory manuals. **Qualifications Required**: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in laboratory operations and training. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Biology, Biotechnology, or Genetics. - Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and quality control measures. - Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical methods. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
