Purpose of Position:

Objective of this role is to analyse listed companies world over and carry out research on such companies with respect to their financial information from various publicly available documents.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

1. Carry out financial research on companies listed on global stock exchanges.

2. Research would be oriented in the domain of Islamic finance.

3. Research the websites of listed companies.

4. Get the Financial data for such companies analysed.

5. Research the financial information of such companies and extract information relevant to the research objective

6. Study the compliance of such companies in accordance with Shariah principles (Islamic law)

7. Have telephonic conversations with such companies to get data which aids in our research objectives

8. Should be oriented towards research activities.

9. Would be required to build data sets on a particular universe of companies independently by efficiently carrying out research using information available in the public domain.

10. Willing to possibly travel for carrying various specialized research projects

Job requirements:

1. Strong English language skills (Spoken and written)

2. Strong Financial statement analytical skills

3. General overall knowledge of financial markets

4. Well versed with the business ethics in the western world

5. Ability to gather and organize data

6. Excellent Ms Excel skills

7. Knowledge of working with Thomson Reuters / Bloomberg financial products will be an added advantage

Educational Requirements:

1. Preferably a Commerce graduate

2. A CA inter or article ship completed candidate would be ideal

3. Knowledge of any foreign language will be a big asset.

In general we are looking to fill up an immediate requirement. Candidates should be willing to join as soon as possible. Remuneration will not be a constrain for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
