Job Description

About the Role

Perform Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for chemical processes, materials, and product systems.
Conduct research, gather relevant data, and develop insights to support decision-making.
Formulate and investigate critical research questions based on project needs.
Analyze datasets, identify patterns, and present findings in a clear and structured manner.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytical outputs.
Prepare reports, documentation, and summaries of research and analytical work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
Practical understanding of LCA methodologies, sustainability assessments, or environmental impact evaluation.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data.
Experience working with data analysis tools; exposure to Python for data handling and analysis preferred.
Familiarity with LCA software/tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA or similar tools.
Curiosity-driven mindset with the ability to ask meaningful research questions.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks or materials/environmental science concepts.
Basic experience with data visualization or statistical techniques.
