Research Analyst

Job Responsibilities The following are the major areas of responsibility:-

• Responsible for the rigorous liaising and query activities related to processes of deriving
  

accurate and realistic commodity pricing of iron ore.

• Ensure adherence to IOSCO principles regarding transparency of pricing development
  

mechanism, detailed processes including escalation for handling client grievances and
training in all aspects related to the compliance.

• Ensure development of high calibre content. This would be ensured by continuous
  

adherence to the Content Development Guidelines (CoDeG) through periodic audit of
articles and ensuring that the drawbacks noticed during audit are rectified.

• Responsible for the development of all periodic reports regarding the specific commodity.
• Carry out regular interaction with important Data Points / Partners (DPs) assigned,
  

developing high standard of working relationship as well as developing new DPs.

• As part of developing the pricing process constantly endeavour to initiate pricing inputs fro
  

new and different geographic.
Key Competencies required

• The candidate should have been a high achiever academically and B.E / B.Tech (preferably
  

mech) and MBA from reputed Institute with an experience of around three to four years in
the Iron & Steel industry dealing specifically with iron ore.

• Candidate should be aware of both domestic and global market of iron ore with
  

experience of interacting with all stakeholders relating to pricing of iron ore.

• It is important that the person should have an experience of working in a team and the
  

ability to handle people skilfully, with tact for successfully interacting with the DPs.

Other Essential Skills Required

• Verbal communication skills (along with body language etc.) should be of very high order,
  

with high fluency levels in spoken English.

• He / she should also have good written English skills to be capable of developing high
  

standard of business communications like analytical articles, insights, e mails and other
periodic reports.Personal Attributes

• The individual must be a good team player and should be able to function and
  

communicate well with other team members.

• Should have high level of integrity and commitment as well as ability to get into details. He
  

/ she should have a positive mental attitude and high levels of enthusiasm
