Requirements Engineer

Role Overview: As a Requirements Engineer in the Wealth Management area at UBS, you will play a vital role in building robust and scalable cloud native solutions in an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include eliciting and understanding business requirements, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders to elaborate solutions, documenting functional and non-functional requirements, focusing on high availability of services, supporting testing colleagues, and continuously improving Agile working practices. Key Responsibilities: - Elicit and understand business requirements - Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to elaborate robust solutions - Document functional and non-functional requirements in Software Requirement Specifications - Focus on high availability of services and minimizing incidents in production - Identify the impact on interfacing solutions - Support testing colleagues in test design and execution - Act as a contact partner for all project stakeholders - Contribute to efficient and continuously improving Agile working practices - Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues Qualifications Required: - Hold an engineering Degree (Bachelor/Master) with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a tech business analyst in the financial sector - Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Have a solid understanding of security concepts - Be inquisitive, able to challenge effectively, and manage conflicting stakeholder needs - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills - Fluent in English - Interested in learning new technologies and practices - Strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing - Preferred to have Business Analysis certification - Understanding and speaking Japanese is a plus Additional Details of the Company: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
