Job Description

Billing & Insurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end billing operations for IP, OP, and corporate clients.
Manage claim submission, follow-up, and settlement with TPAs and insurance companies.
Verify insurance eligibility, pre-authorizations, and final bill approvals.
Review and audit billing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with departments (Front Office, Finance, Nursing, and Medical Records) to resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policies, government schemes, and reimbursement guidelines.
Supervise billing and insurance staff, ensuring efficient daily operations.
Generate MIS reports for management review (collections, pending claims, denials, etc.).
Ensure adherence to hospital billing protocols and statutory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors / Masters Degree in Commerce, Hospital Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years
of experience in hospital billing and insurance operations.
Strong knowledge of TPA processes, health insurance policies, and cashless procedures.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
