AR Callers

Role & responsibilities

Perform follow-up calls with insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims.
Handle both
hospital billing
and
physician billing
processes.
Review and analyze denied claims, initiate corrective actions, and resubmit when necessary.
Ensure compliance with payer requirements and billing guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and claim statuses.
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex billing issues.
Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets.
Prepare and submit appeals within payer timelines
Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency
Support audits and ensure HIPAA/ERISA compliance
Mentor junior analysts and share best practices

Preferred candidate profile

25 years of AR calling experience in healthcare billing
Strong knowledge of physician and hospital billing processes
Exposure to Swing Bed, Rural Health, and Critical Access billing preferred
Excellent communication and analytical skills
