Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science / Information Technology to students of Grades VI‑X as per the CBSE curriculum
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons including theory and practical sessions (use of computer lab)
• Create assignments, projects, tests and quizzes to assess students’ understanding and progress
• Help students build foundational skills in MS Office, operating systems, basic programming (Python / HTML / Scratch etc.), internet usage, digital safety, etc.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and proper use of lab equipment in the computer lab
• Monitor student performance, provide remedial support to weak students and encourage advanced students
• Maintain records of attendance, marks, project work and lab safety
• Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, academic meetings, co‑curricular activities as required
• Keep up to date with new technologies, educational software and computer lab tools, integrate them into teaching
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology / relevant field (B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech etc.)
• B.Ed / equivalent teaching qualification preferred
• 1‑3 years of teaching experience in computer subject / labs, preferably in CBSE school
• Good knowledge of programming basics, computer applications, lab setup and hardware‑software fundamentals
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Good classroom management, discipline and punctuality
