Job Description:

The QC Microbiologist will be responsible for performing and ensuring the accuracy of microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental monitoring in compliance with cGMP, GLP, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, water, in-process, and finished products.
• Perform environmental monitoring of manufacturing and aseptic areas.
• Carry out sterility testing, microbial limit testing, endotoxin testing, and bioburden analysis.
• Perform identification and enumeration of microorganisms using standard microbiological methods.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, records, and ensure all activities adhere to SOPs and GMP standards.
• Support validation studies (media validation, method validation, cleaning validation, etc.).
• Prepare and review microbiology-related documentation, including test records, protocols, and reports.
• Participate in internal audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Ensure proper upkeep of microbiology laboratory and implementation of safety practices.
