Role Description

This is a full-time internship position in Remote Sensing with a focus on Climate Action, Flood Control, and Drainage Systems. In this on-site role located in Satara, the intern will assist in handling data acquisition and analysis, monitoring and evaluating flood-prone regions, and contributing to the development of drainage systems. Daily tasks include conducting field visits, collecting and analyzing remote sensing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members on innovative climate action strategies.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Remote Sensing technology and its applications in climate action and flood control
• Skills in data acquisition, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS)
• Ability to conduct field visits and collect relevant data for analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and collaborate with team members
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Knowledge of climate action strategies, drainage systems design, and environmental policies
• Degree or coursework in Environmental Science, Geography, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, or related fields
• Experience with flood control and drainage systems in an academic or practical setting is an advantage
