We're Hiring: Remote Planner – Rail Construction Sector Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time Are you an experienced Planning Engineer or Planner looking to make an impact on high-profile rail infrastructure projects? Key Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and update project programmes using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools. Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements and support programme submissions. Collaborate with delivery and commercial teams to ensure alignment of schedules with project objectives. Analyse and interpret complex project data, risks, and progress to ensure effective reporting and forecasting. Communicate programme updates and findings confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to planning best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal Candidate Will Have Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or Planner in the Rail Construction sector. Strong understanding of construction techniques and engineering principles . High proficiency in Primavera P6 and similar project planning software. Solid knowledge of NEC contracts and typical UK infrastructure programme requirements. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Clear, confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
