Job Description

As a member of the Release Management team at the company, your role involves working closely with Product Managers, Development, Quality Assurance, and Compliance to ensure that the TransPerfect product offerings meet client and regulatory requirements. Your primary responsibilities include: - Assisting with Release Management practices such as implementing and maintaining RM disciplines. - Implementing Release Management processes in alignment with department and company standards and procedures. Collaborate with Department Managers and Team Leads to enhance these standards and procedures. - Creating Confluence Build and Release pages to track details of each product build and release. - Collaborating with the QA team to gather testing information and integration details. - Working closely with the Product Manager to ensure accurate information is captured for the release. - Maintaining awareness of development/QA/release management processes and policies. - Seeking approvals from stakeholders for release. - Assisting the Director in Validation Package creation and other process documentation related to Release Management. - Disseminating build notices for approval and acceptance. - Providing training to team members. - Contributing to technical documentation and OLH validation. - Supporting the Release process by preparing the Release environment, verifying FTP transfers, resolving JIRA issues, and checking in Release detail documentation to SVN. - Archiving source code for the Release when necessary. - Managing the product integration matrix. - Completing any other tasks assigned by your manager/supervisor. Required Skills: - Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Understanding of Software Release Methodologies. - Self-motivated and detail-oriented. - Proficiency in using the command line in a Unix/Linux environment. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively with diverse backgrounds, build relationships with coworkers, work both independently and as part of a team, proactively solve problems, and maintain a high level of service. - Enjoyment in working with people and being part of a team. Required Experience: - BCA/BE in Computer Sciences. Desired Skills and Experience: - Experience with virtualization. - Proficiency in Mac OS, Windows, UNIX, and Linux. - Familiarity with SVN, Ant, Eclipse, Tortoise SVN, and Tomcat. - Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. - Experience in handling hardware and software issues.,
