Release Management

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cloud Analytics team at Gainwell Technologies and support building market-leading products. The analytics group is responsible for the design and deployment of analytics platforms and solutions to support Gainwell clients. We are looking for a Level 2/Senior Professional Release Management professional with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. An analytics background is a plus, but not essential. Your role in our mission includes leading Release Planning, coordinating and managing release activities across teams to ensure smooth and timely software deployments. You will own the release schedule, work with teams to plan and track upcoming releases, and oversee change requests, assess risks, and create backup plans to handle issues during releases. Additionally, you will support CI/CD and Deployment by defining and following best practices for CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and rollback processes. Quick identification and resolution of deployment issues, collaboration with various teams, clear communication with stakeholders, and ensuring readiness for each release are also key responsibilities. Furthermore, you will define key metrics, gather feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance the release process over time. Participation in Agile events such as stand-ups and planning sessions is essential to stay aligned with upcoming work and release scope. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with a minimum of 12+ years of experience in release management. Strong knowledge of the development lifecycle, environment strategies, and release processes is required. Proven ability to manage major/minor/patch release schedules and environments, experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools, Agile methodologies, excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities are necessary. Proficiency in Programming Languages like Python, Java, analytics, and healthcare domain knowledge are advantageous. AWS or Azure certifications are also required.
