Release coordinator

You will be responsible for overseeing the release process for software and application updates in the role of Release Coordinator. Your main tasks will include coordinating various teams, tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving conflicts to ensure successful product releases and deployments. Your expertise in project management principles, problem-solving, and understanding of software development cycles will be crucial in ensuring that our software and applications are delivered to customers with high quality and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include managing and monitoring the progress of software releases from inception to delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams for successful releases and deployments, developing and implementing release strategies and schedules, and identifying and managing risks that may impact release scope, schedule, and quality. You will also be conducting release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews, producing deployment run books and implementation plans, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders to define release timelines, and maintaining a release repository with key information. To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in release coordination or a similar role. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with release management tools, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work independently are required. Additionally, flexibility in working hours to support releases may be necessary.
