Job Description

Role Overview: As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, your primary responsibility is to identify, assess, and mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks within the bank. You will be tasked with overseeing regulatory reporting activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal control policies. Your role involves maintaining open communication with regulators to uphold the bank's adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess prudential regulatory reporting risks stemming from the bank's activities, products, and services. - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate regulatory reporting risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify and address potential gaps or violations. - Assess the effectiveness of internal control processes and governance framework, implementing measures to strengthen controls. - Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities and provide support to other departments in report preparation. - Analyze and present regulatory data to offer insights into business performance and support decision-making. - Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities. - Communicate and liaise with regulatory bodies, respond promptly to inquiries, and represent the bank in regulator meetings. - Manage the selection, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems and software applications.
