Regulatory Analytics Analyst VP - C13 - MUMBAI

Role Overview: As a Regulatory Analytics Analyst at VP level in the Regulatory and Analytics function within Enterprise Data Office, your primary responsibility will be to support regulatory reporting, data model design, and development of a data quality and analytics framework for Wholesale Loans, with a special focus on Commercial Real Estate, ABS, and Securitization Transactions. You will play a crucial role in facilitating tactical and strategic support for the firm's key regulatory reports, such as FRY-14, FR2052a, and Shared National Credit, from a data provisioning and data quality perspective. Additionally, you will contribute to driving transformation across transaction capture, underwriting, risk management, and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead/support quarterly schedule activities, adjustment reviews, and reasonability checks to enhance data quality continuously. - Develop and utilize analytical tools to support regulatory reporting requirements. - Collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including Risk, Transaction Management, Regulatory Reporting teams, and senior stakeholders. - Assist in audit reviews by providing supporting documentation for regulatory report submissions. - Develop and execute plans, policies, and procedures, and contribute to leading projects by offering solutions and identifying cost-saving opportunities. - Evaluate risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and maintaining ethical standards while managing and reporting control issues transparently. Qualifications: - Possess 12+ years of experience in a related role. - Demonstrate real estate industry experience, including loans, wholesale lending, and appraisals. - Have experience working with regulatory reports involving large datasets. - Proficient in Advanced MS Excel functions like Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc. - Proficiency in SQL and Tableau. - Exhibit subject matter expertise in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas, or products. - Showcase strong analytical and process execution skills. - Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse work environment. - Capable of managing competing priorities, working well as part of a team.
