Job Description

REGULATORY R&D EXECUTIVE – EXPORT & DOMESTIC COMPLIANCE

Department: Regulatory Affairs (with cross-function to R&D)

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Cosmetics, or related fields)
  • Experience: 2–5 years in cosmetic or personal care industry, with exposure to regulatory and R&D work
  • Preferred Knowledge: Formulation development, IFRA guidelines, BIS, CDSCO regulations, global regulatory standards (EU, US, GCC, ASEAN),

Key Responsibilities:

  • Export Formulation Support:

Develop and update formulations for export markets based on regulatory and market requirements

Conduct lab trials and ensure color/texture/performance as per standards

Coordinate with internal teams to deliver compliant and timely product development

  • Regulatory Issue Handling:

Act as a point of contact for resolving regulatory concerns raised by export or domestic authorities

Help to regulatory manager to respond to queries or provide required technical documents

  • Planning & Coordination:

Plan development timelines based on export shipment deadlines

Liaise with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Production) to ensure formulation readiness

  • Regulation & Compliance:

Ensure formulations meet IFRA, EU, US FDA, and other relevant global standards

Stay updated with latest changes in export/import regulations related to cosmetics

  • Domestic Regulatory Support:

Address domestic regulatory issues by modifying existing formulations or developing new compliant ones

Coordinate for BIS/COS license-related documentation and support

  • Formulation Expertise:

Have a deep understanding of cosmetic ingredients, safety limits, and synergistic effects

Guide team in ingredient selection, preservative systems, and stability optimization

  • Documentation & Record-Keeping:

Maintain all formulation, trial, and regulatory documentation with high accuracy

Help to prepare PIF (Product Information Files), COA drafts, ingredient declarations, and label claims as needed

Additional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic regulatory tools/software
  • Good communication and team coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
