Registered Nurse (RN)

As a pediatric registered nurse at CHOC Childrens, you will have the opportunity to work in various specialties such as Medical/Surgical Post-Op, Neuroscience, Emergency Room, Hematology/Oncology, Multispecialty Unit, Float Pool, PICU/CVICU, NICU, and Operating Room/Procedure Center. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional and innovative care to our pediatric population. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care in the designated pediatric specialty - Ensure the overall health and well-being of pediatric patients - Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care - Adhere to all clinical procedures and protocols specific to the assigned specialty - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in the defined pediatric specialty - Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school (to be obtained within 2 years of hire date) - Current CA RN License - BLS and PALS certification required for specific specialties - Additional certifications such as ACLS and NRP may be required for certain specialties CHOC Childrens also offers an excellent total rewards package, including an education reimbursement program of up to $10,000 per year.
