Regional Sales Manager - Distribution (Assays)

As the Regional Sales Manager - Distribution (Assays) for MedInnos in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will be responsible for driving sales of the assay portfolio through traditional distribution networks in South India. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, your main focus will be on expanding market share and ensuring strong partner engagement. Your key responsibilities will include achieving sales targets for assays through distributor-led channels, identifying and managing high-performing distributors within the approved budget, and supporting them with product training, promotional materials, and joint customer visits. It will also be crucial for you to monitor channel sales performance, resolve issues, ensure stock availability, and collaborate with marketing for territory-specific campaigns. Additionally, you will be expected to gather and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging opportunities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry (MBA preferred) and have a minimum of 12 years of sales experience in IVD / Molecular Diagnostics, with a strong background in distributor management. A proven track record in assay sales and channel growth, along with strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently are also essential.
