Regional Sales Manager Distribution (Assays)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for assays through distributor-led channels for the region.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage high-performing distributors in assigned territories, operating within the approved budget.
  • Support distributors with product training, promotional materials, and joint customer visits.
  • Monitor channel sales performance, resolve issues, and ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and implement territory-specific campaigns.
  • Gather and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of sales experience in IVD / Molecular Diagnostics, with strong distributor management exposure.
  • Proven track record in assay sales and channel growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to work independently.
