Regional Manager of Engineering Project, ASIA

As the Regional Manager of Engineering Projects at Siegwerk, your role will involve supporting all sub-regions/local engineering departments in driving strategic projects essential for the entire region. Here is what you can expect in this position: - Support local engineering in designing and implementing key projects. - Consult with the team to determine the appropriate strategy for project organization. - Assist in identifying preferred key technologies and suppliers for deliveries and services for key equipment in alignment with Global Engineering. - Monitor the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and expenses of projects including Gate Reviews, Budget Screening, and KPIs. - Develop and harmonize high-value spares for the region by collaborating with Global departments Purchasing and Engineering. - Lead projects of shared interest among the sub-regions. - Support management in project governance and project steering, including preparation and presentation. - Establish common goals with Global Engineering and Purchasing. - Provide training to local Engineers. - Develop and disseminate Guidelines and Standards in collaboration with Global Engineering. - Troubleshoot regional and local projects in emergent cases. Qualifications/Competences required for this role are: - Related University degree (e.g. Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical). - Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in the field of expertise. - At least 5-7 years of experience in project management as a project leader. - Professional background in an international environment. - Experience in managing Engineering and non-engineering projects. - Good conceptual skills. - Fluent English communication skills. - Advanced MS Office Knowledge.
