Regional IT Infrastructure Engineer

As a Regional IT Infrastructure Engineer at Ninja Van, your role is crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our IT system. Your responsibilities include ensuring that our IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient in meeting the changing needs of the organization. You will play a key role in monitoring the performance of the IT infrastructure, identifying areas of inefficiency, and optimizing the system for improved performance and reliability. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Implementation of IT infrastructure: Develop a comprehensive implementation plan for the organization's IT infrastructure in the areas of systems and networking to meet the organization's requirements. - Monitoring and support: Continuously monitor the performance of the IT infrastructure and provide support as required to ensure availability. - Security: Ensure the organization's IT infrastructure is secure from external threats and data is protected from unauthorized access, following Infosecs recommendations. - Actively respond to incoming inquiries, incidents, and service requests professionally and within agreed time limits. - Disaster recovery and backup: Implement solutions for disaster recovery and backup to ensure quick recovery from disruptions or data loss. - Documentation: Document all IT infrastructure designs, implementations, and maintenance activities for knowledge retention and transfer within the IT team. - Ensure daily tasks are executed according to Standard Operating Procedures. - Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned. **Requirements:** - Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure implementation. - Good hands-on knowledge of network, LAN, VPN, VLAN, Switches, firewall, Wi-Fi, routers, etc. - Proficiency in system administration (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and user account management. - Strong experience with Google Workspace products and administration is advantageous. - Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, PMP/Prince2, and ITIL are an added advantage. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
