Regional Information Security Officer - Sovereign Cloud Delivery India , Bangalore

As a Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) for India at SAP, your role will involve maintaining our system security posture and protecting our customer's data from unauthorized use. You will play a key role in risk management by assisting in the protection of our systems, identifying threats/vulnerabilities, and mitigating and remediating vulnerabilities to ensure security compliance. You will closely collaborate with the Business Information Security Officer for the Sovereign Services organization to adapt the central security framework, translate India's regulatory requirements into the information security framework, and implement necessary measures. Key Responsibilities: - Commitment to maintaining office presence for efficient team collaboration Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in information security or related field - Knowledge of risk management principles - Understanding of regulatory requirements related to information security At SAP Sovereign Cloud Delivery India unit, you will be part of a team that provides SAP's Sovereign Cloud Services in India. The team works on cloud landscape architecture design, build, maintenance, and operation to deliver stable, secure, and resilient cloud services compliant with local laws, regulations, and India's unique security, secrecy, and digital sovereignty requirements. You will collaborate closely with the central Architecture team, Security Office, Engineering teams, and Regulatory and Governance teams in India. Note: This role requires 5 days of work from the Whitefield, Bangalore office.
