As a Quality Analyst Professional for Global Equities, your role involves conducting accuracy, timeliness, and completeness data checks on a predefined list of securities. You will be responsible for checking data against source documents, identifying and reporting inaccuracies, maintaining records of data omissions, and analyzing results through root cause analysis. Additionally, you will be required to identify trends and patterns in errors, recommend solutions, present statistics for error distribution, and escalate repetitive errors to management. Your creativity will be valued in suggesting ways to enhance data quality efficiencies through automation, system edits, or data quality reports. Furthermore, you will develop and execute data cleanup initiatives, utilizing Access queries and/or SQL for improving data quality processes. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, or statistics. You should have a minimum of one and a half years of experience in Equity primary or Secondary processes, with at least 6 months tenure in your current designation. Proficiency in SQL, Macro, Advanced Excel, or any programming language will be advantageous. A strong understanding of Global Taxable Secondary processes, internal applications like Ex share, Bond Eye, and Service Now, as well as knowledge of current processes, policies, and data flow are essential. Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities are also key attributes for this role.
