Reddit Community Manager

[HIRING] Reddit-native community person (Remote)

We’re a remote, small Shopify SaaS team. We’re looking for someone who has spent years using Reddit personally and understands that this is not a place for "marketing" (read spamming). We're NOT looking for a marketing or growth person.

This work will mostly involve:

– Thoughtful commenting & posts that add genuine value

– Building a genuine, helpful community from scratch

– Posting on our official subreddit

– Available to sync everyday to discuss progress

We don't want to do anything that violates Reddit's ToS. And we also don't want to use "AI" either.

Requirements:

– Deep understanding of Reddit culture, norms, and unwritten rules

– Strong written empathy: ability to engage honestly and calmly

– Excellent human-first writing skills (no AI tone, no marketing language)

– High judgment and restraint: knows when not to post or engage

– Working understanding of SaaS / Shopify products and the ability to explain features in plain language

We'll start with a paid trial to assess whether we're a good fit first.
