Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Barasat for a Recovery Officer. The Recovery Officer will be responsible for managing and collecting overdue debts by coordinating with customers and stakeholders, ensuring proper repayment processes are followed. Key tasks include contacting borrowers to negotiate repayments, assessing customer financial situations, maintaining detailed records of collected debts, and adhering to organizational and legal guidelines to ensure ethical practices throughout the recovery process.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with borrowers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Debt Collection techniques and Finance knowledge to handle recovery processes with accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer situations and offer appropriate repayment solutions.
• Basic computer literacy for maintaining documentation and utilizing company provided tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with local languages and geography of the assigned region is a plus.
• Previous experience in recovery, finance, or customer service roles is considered an advantage.
