Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger (GL) Management:

• Process journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by validating GL balances and conducting periodic reviews.

• Month-End and Year-End Close:

• Support the monthly and yearly closing process, including preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and eliminating journal entries during the close process.

• Reconciliation:

• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure all reconciliations are completed according to deadlines and in line with corporate policies.

• Financial Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management presentations.
• Ensure reports reflect accurate financial information in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

• Compliance and Controls:

• Ensure all R2R activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
• Support internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries related to the R2R process.

• Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline the R2R process, enhance accuracy, and reduce processing time.
• Participate in automation initiatives or system enhancements related to accounting tools and processes.

• Support to Other Teams:

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) to ensure the proper processing of financial transactions and reporting.
• Provide support during financial audits and collaborate with external auditors.
