Work you will do

  • Review the financial close process, including the evaluation and interpretation of financial statements and reports required for monthly, quarterly, annual and other regulatory reporting.

  • Own RTR process management, month-end closing, monthly and quarterly reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, and preparation and review of journal entries

  • Complete month-end closing and reporting activities on time, including revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, calculation of reserves, and preparation/posting of journal entries

  • Drive operational efficiency in the financial close and reporting processes by providing efficient, sustainable and technology-enabled solutions as per accounting and financial reporting requirements

  • Monitor SOX compliance through the testing of controls and prepare management reports to show the results of testing and efficiency of controls

  • Ensure appropriate and timely information/responses are provided to auditors

  • Collaborate with teams to identify and understand their challenges, and manage day-to-day client and internal relationships

  • Provide necessary information to the clients business and other teams in a timely manner

  • Mentor, support and train team members

Profile

  • 810 years of RTR experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) or a masters degree in accounting/business or finance required (other disciplines will be considered in case of relevant accounting experience)

  • Experience in leading teams of 15+ colleagues and collaborating with teams across geographies

  • Excellent analytical and data management skills

  • Ability to handle complex situations and resolve difficult or non-routine issues/escalations

  • Strong business process documentation skills

  • Proficiency in MS office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Proficiency in tools such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Power BI, HFM and One Stream reporting tool

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Solutions-oriented, independent thinker with advanced problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team to manage multiple task assignments

  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
