Receptionist

GenX Hospital is looking for a friendly, professional, and well-organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth front desk operations and a positive experience for every visitor to our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and accurately
• Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment records
• Register patients and maintain accurate patient information in the hospital system
• Provide information about hospital services, departments, and policies
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for patient needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
• Handle patient inquiries, feedback, and direct them to the appropriate department
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail or deliveries

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in reception or front desk role (hospital or clinic preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using computers and office software (MS Office, Hospital Management Systems)
• Professional appearance and customer service-oriented attitude
