Real Asset - Senior Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain and control the

  general ledger

  and various sub-ledgers.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements.
• Prepare trial balances and work paper products with high accuracy.
• Process both standard and complex bookkeeping entries and manage a

  full cycle of transaction activities

  .

• Financial Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare detailed financial data analysis to support decision-making.
• Be involved in calculating carried interest, performance, and incentive fees.
• Process payments and other transactions efficiently.

• Stakeholder & Project Management:

• Act as a

  day-to-day contact for on-shore stakeholders

  .
• Participate in the implementation of new fund structures into the accounting system.
• Proactively identify and escalate any material issues that affect service delivery to the Supervisor.
• Contribute to special projects related to the expansion and evolution of the business.

About You

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an

  ACCA equivalent

  , or actively studying for a professional accounting qualification (

  CA, CPA, or equivalent

  ).

• Experience:

• A minimum of

  3-4 years of experience

  in accounting within the financial services sector, particularly in Private Equity, Asset Management, or Fund Administration.
• Experience in

  Limited Partnership accounting

  is essential.

• Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP

  is required.
• Strong experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Established knowledge of accounting and consolidations under

  IFRS

  .
• Strong operational experience with a focus on processes and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (

  Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  , etc.).
