React Software Engineer

As a Front-End React Software Engineer at UBS, you will have the opportunity to enhance your software engineering skills by contributing to impactful applications and being a part of a recognized engineering community. Your role will involve: - Working collaboratively within a team to design, build, and enhance applications in partnership with the business. - Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements with business partners to develop new features, create automated testing and deployment plans. - Ensuring observability and monitoring are integrated into applications for incident resolution and client connectivity. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the chance to engage in knowledge-sharing within engineering guilds and participate in volunteering and cultural events through staff networks. Upon joining the Managing Clients - Channels and Content agile crew, you will help design external touchpoints for clients and manage applications supporting client information flow. You will be part of Asset Management Technology, a diverse team of 1,200 individuals worldwide dedicated to driving sustainable investments and fostering a client-focused culture. Your expertise should include: - 5+ years of experience in the financial industry. - Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience using frameworks such as React JS, Bootstrap, Node JS, and NPM. - Extensive knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, webpack, Redux, JavaScript, typescript, and Responsive Web Design. - Experience in building responsive interfaces, web application development, and Agile methodologies like Scrum. - Ability to produce secure, stable, and high-performing code, write optimized and clean code. - Proficiency in tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and experience with RESTful APIs.
