RDA&RR Independent Validation, Associate

Role Overview: You will be part of the RDA&RR Independent Validation team at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to the Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting compliance framework and achieving compliance with BCBS 239 guidelines. You will review and provide independent validation over the measurement and monitoring activities in the Risk and Finance divisions. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the RDARR team in delivering the Independent Validation function mandate - Govern compliance framework adherence by Risk and Finance divisions - Execute quality assurance reviews on RDARR metrics and reports to assess adherence to internal standards and regulatory expectations - Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent implementation of RDARR principles - Track and support remediation efforts for identified gaps or control weaknesses - Support the annual self-assessment process at the Group level - Identify opportunities to enhance RDA&RR Governance, Policy, and Framework - Engage with stakeholders to socialize QA findings and support a culture of continuous improvement - Prepare IV results, dashboards, and reports for senior management, governance committees, and audit requirements - Stay informed of evolving regulatory requirements related to data aggregation and risk reporting Qualifications Required: - University degree or relevant professional experience - Strong understanding of risk and finance data environments, reporting processes, and related controls - Familiarity with BCBS 239/RDARR principles and data quality concepts - Knowledge of regulatory environment, frameworks, and compliance requirements in financial services - Experience in Quality Assurance and/or Audit Assurance - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and influence stakeholders - Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis or workflow tools Additional Company Information: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including best in class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, comprehensive insurance coverage, and employee assistance programs for you and your family members.
