Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Software RD Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team developing both desktop and web-based applications for our industry-leading data and IP management product line. This role combines technical leadership with Agile project management, requiring deep expertise in software development and team execution. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team. Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Drive technical execution and innovation across desktop and web platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals and delivery timelines. Oversee continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and ensure code quality through automated testing. Facilitate cross-team communication and resolve blockers.
Qualifications 10+ years of software development experience. 2+ years managing software development teams. Proficiency in C++, Tcl/Tk, Python/Django, Angular. Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and advanced querying. Strong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and design patterns. Skilled in Agile methodologies and Scrum Master practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
