R&D Mechanical Lab Testing Manager

As a Lab Manager, your role involves overseeing and managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical labs. Your key responsibilities include: - Direct oversight of incoming, in-process, and release testing in the labs. - Ensuring proper functioning of the labs by maintaining inventory levels of supplies, equipment maintenance and calibration, scheduling lab staff, and managing equipment AMCs. - Tracking assets and maintaining records as per Quality and Regulatory requirements. - Providing supervision and direction to employees, ensuring proper training on testing and methodologies. - Contributing to the development, updating, and review of Test Procedures, SOPs, and Protocols. - Performing troubleshooting and investigations as needed. - Complying with regulatory and in-house requirements related to safety, housekeeping, waste management, cGMP, GDP, and documentation. - Exhibiting professional behavior with internal and external associates. - Driving a Safety culture and identifying Continuous improvement opportunities. - Making scientifically driven decisions adhering to regulatory practices. - Desirable exposure to ISO13485 & ISO17025 standards. You should hold a Graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in managing and maintaining labs. Proficiency in supporting test execution, fixture building, and prototype support is required for this role.,
