We are searching for an IEC Lab Leader for one of our clients based in Hyderabad. This is a Work From Office opportunity with a requirement of 10+ years of experience in managing and maintaining Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Labs. As an ideal candidate, you should hold a Graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the labs, covering incoming, in-process, and release testing. You will be tasked with ensuring the lab's smooth functioning by maintaining inventory levels, equipment calibration, staff scheduling, and more. Furthermore, you will be expected to supervise and lead a team of 3-4 Lab technicians in various lab management and testing activities. Strong leadership skills are crucial as you will need to effectively communicate lab activities and performance metrics to Top Management during business reviews. Your duties will involve asset tracking, maintaining records as per Quality and Regulatory requirements, providing direction to employees, conducting staff training, contributing to the development of test procedures and protocols, troubleshooting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A key aspect of this role is promoting a Safety culture and identifying Continuous improvement opportunities across Labs. Proficiency in supporting test execution, fixture building, and prototype support is also required. Exposure to ISO17025 & ISO17025 standards would be beneficial.
