Burgundy Private, the private banking business of Axis Bank, caters to the ultra-high net worth and high net worth customer segments. The proposition offers personalized wealth management solutions, research-based investment advisory, estate planning, real estate and tax advisory for HNI / ultra HNI clients.

. Burgundy Private has a client-acquisition oriented approach which is a critical pillar of growth for the business.

. The One Axis initiative has opened a lot of opportunities for Burgundy Private to identify and onboard key private clients across Branch Banking, Wholesale & Commercial Banking and other group subsidiaries such as Axis Capital and Axis Finance.

. Additionally, there are opportunities which can be explored from external partnerships through forums like Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), Young Professionals Organization (YPO) and Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and several other such networks.

. The ability to showcase the capabilities of our private-banking platform, identify opportunities, track closures and drive this strong connect with internal and external stakeholders across regions, requires a senior and dedicated resource.

. Focusing on opportunities in the Private Equity and Venture Capital ecosystem with partial or complete stake-sale transactions, M&A, public issues and other modes of equity dilution, which can result in key client acquisitions for the Burgundy Private team.

. The KRAs for this position will comprise the breadth of partnerships created, number of opportunities identified, closures effected and demonstration of synergy across teams.

About the Role

The New Client Acquisition Manager is responsible for high value client acquisition for the Burgundy Private programme with a focus on quality and size of the relationship to fulfil the stringent eligibility criteria for the Burgundy Private programme.

Key Responsibilities

. Building and growing, private banking relevant, client acquisitions through the Burgundy Private front-line teams to achieve quality and high value new to bank clients.

. Building synergies with critical stake holders across intra Axis Bank group companies with an objective of acquiring high value relationships for the Burgundy Private Programme.

. Closely tracking private markets including large PE/VC transactions across the old economy companies as well as new age tech platforms.

. Closely tracking public markets for liquidity events where companies are tapping public markets to raise capital through IPO's.

. Creating a scientific approach to acquiring promoters, founders and relevant senior management across such corporates encountering liquidity events through PE/VC stake dilution or IPOs.

. Forging external partnerships with relevant industry bodies, self-interest groups etc with the objective of acquiring HNI/UHNI clients of relevant size.

. Creating campaigns for internal stake holders to accelerate the pace of client acquisitions.

. Managing & monitoring acquisition processes across multiple digital & non digital platforms. Competition mapping, understanding gaps, and identifying pockets of opportunity.

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

. Business Management or other relevant Post Graduate degree
