Radiology Receptionist

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed.
• Accurately register patients in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and other hospital databases, verifying and updating demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments for various radiology procedures and manage the appointment calendar.
• Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries both in person and over the phone regarding appointments or department services.
• Perform data entry, maintain patient files, print reports or images, and handle general clerical duties like scanning documents.
• Help manage the patient flow in the department, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients waiting for their procedures.
• Use sound judgement to resolve patient issues and direct them to the appropriate resources when necessary.
