Radiologist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various EHR systems, including Epic. This role requires expertise in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care across diverse medical specialties. The Radiologist will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommend further diagnostic or treatment options.
• Perform interventional procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance the field of radiology and improve patient care practices.
• Provide education to patients regarding procedures and imaging processes to alleviate concerns and enhance understanding.
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, particularly Epic, along with experience in EMR systems.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to various specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and pediatrics.
• Experience with diagnostic imaging modalities including mammography, nuclear medicine, and vascular interventional radiography is preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical practices related to critical care, emergency medicine, outpatient services, and surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient interaction.
• Ability to perform basic life support and maintain current certifications relevant to the position.
