Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to support clinical decision-making. You will operate radiographic equipment, prepare and position patients, adhere to safety standards, and ensure quality imaging in a collaborative hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams per physicians’ orders and hospital protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort/safety.
• Adhere to radiation protection standards and regulatory compliance.
• Operate/maintain imaging equipment; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Accurately label and record images, update patient records in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain readiness of exam rooms and manage radiology supplies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an

  accredited Radiologic Technologist program

  (or equivalent military training).

• 1+ year of radiography experience

  in a clinical environment.
• Current

  ARRT certification

  (Radiography).
• Valid

  NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Current

  BLS certification

  .
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on

  overnight shifts
