Quantity Surveyor-(Design Quality)

1----About the Role:

As a Quotation QC, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating project quotations, BOQs, and material take-offs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design and production standards. The role involves detailed cross-verification of drawings, specifications, and cost sheets to minimize commercial and execution errors before project approval.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Review project quotations prepared by designers or estimators for technical and commercial accuracy.

-Cross-check BOQ quantities, rates, and scope against design drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

-Ensure material specifications, finishes, and hardware details are correctly reflected in the quotation.

-Validate wastage, cutting optimization, and slab/sheet utilization as per company standards.

-Identify deviations or mismatches between design and quotation and raise clarifications to the design/estimation team.

-Coordinate with Design, QS, and Procurement teams to resolve cost or quantity discrepancies.

-Track and maintain QC reports and approval logs for all verified quotations.

-Support process improvement initiatives to standardize estimation and quality checks.

-Provide feedback to designers for continuous improvement and accuracy in future quotations.

Skills & Qualifications:-

1)Bachelors degree or diploma in Interior Design/ Quantity Surveying.

2)Minimum 1 year of experience in interior project estimation, design QC, or quotation validation.

3)Strong understanding of modular furniture, materials, finishes, hardware, and costing.

4)Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and quotation templates (ERP or internal systems).

5)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

6)Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in design QC or estimation within interior fit-out or modular furniture companies.

Familiarity with factory drawings, design-to-production workflow, and MRC / BOQ
