Job Description

You will be responsible for quantity surveying, estimation, and cost control in large-scale infrastructure projects including high-rise buildings, government offices, educational institutions, hospitals, STP/ETP, and EPC works. You are expected to handle BOQs, rate analysis, tendering support, RA billing, subcontract management, and cost reporting, while ensuring compliance with IS codes, CPWD specifications and DSR.

Role & responsibilities

. Quantity Surveying & Estimation

  • Prepare BOQs and rate analyses.
  • Ensure accurate cost estimations for tenders and projects.
  • Conduct quantity estimations and prepare bar bending schedules as per GFC.
  • Review and validate drawings, GFCs, and technical specifications for accurate quantification.
  • Support preparation of budgetary cost plans and value engineering exercises.

2. Pre-Contract & Tendering

  • Preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and tender documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams for accurate and timely submissions.

3. Post-Contract & Execution Support

  • Measurement and certification of works executed at site as per IS codes and project specifications.
  • Preparation and verification of interim payment certificates (RA bills) for subcontractors/vendors.
  • Monitor variations, claims, deviations, and extra items with proper documentation.
  • Liaise with design, planning, and execution teams for accurate quantification and progress tracking.

4. Cost Control & Reporting

  • Track project budgets, commitments, and actual expenditures.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, cost-to-complete reports, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with CPWD specifications, DSR schedules, and rate analysis (market and DSR).

Preferred candidate profile

  1. 3 to 5 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (High-rise buildings, Government offices, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, STP/ETP, EPC).
  2. Strong knowledge of IS codes, CPWD specifications, and DSR.
  3. Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs, RA billing, cost reporting, and contract management.
  4. Prior exposure to water/wastewater projects (STP/ETP) is highly desirable.
  5. B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  6. Diploma in Quantity Surveying / RICS / NICMAR certification will be an added advantage
