Job Description

Role Overview: As an Experienced Professional (P2) in Manufacturing Quality Assurance at Hitachi Energy, your role involves defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements for manufactured materials, components, or products. You will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure and systems to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Your tasks will include auditing, monitoring, and assessing the quality of manufacturing processes against internal and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will report and troubleshoot manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods. Your practical knowledge in this area will be crucial in influencing others within the job area through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform in-process Quality checks at various stages such as Core, Core-Coil assembly, VPD, Retightening, Tanking, Vacuuming & oil filling, Final Testing, Dismantling & Transport based on Quality Inspection card. - Raise nonconformance observed during in-process stages and coordinate with relevant departments for Root cause analysis & CAPA. - Arrange periodic NCR review meetings with inter departments. - Act as a Certified Internal auditor for ISO9001:2015 to support related Quality Management System. - Define Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQP) based on contracts & relevant standards. - Coordinate stage inspections of Core assembly, CCA (Active part) with customers and prepare relevant reports for clearance. - Collaborate closely with other functions in Hitachi Energy such as Production, SCM, Engineering, etc. - Report & Follow up on Cost of Poor Quality within the function. - Coordinate improvement projects derived from Cost of Poor Quality & NCRs. - Support initiatives and audits related to Sustainability, Material compliance, Integrity, Health, Environment, and Safety launched by Group function / Division. - Coordinate customer audits and follow up on actions. - Plan and Perform Quality Management System Audits, Global Quality Assessment & Customer Audits. - Follow up on NCRs & Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (8D etc.) and define actions with the related team from internal audits, customer audits, manufacturing, or customer claims (CCRP). - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - A bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / Electronic Engineering with 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience if BE or 12-14 years for Diploma. - Experience in Transformer Background is a must. - Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Hindi languages is required.,
