Duties

• Driving implementation of Quality Management Systems in the hospital
• Ensuring that the required SOPs and policies as per hospitals QMS and Accreditation requirements are in place
• Driving Internal Audits & clinical audits across various departments of the hospital
• Monitoring and ensuring that data collection for various QIPs, Quality Indicators and as required by Evercare & for NABH & JCI is implemented
• Designing and driving patient safety and staff safety program in the hospital in line with the directives from corporate team
• Identification of gaps, development of action plan under the guidance of the HCOO & Corporate quality head and monitor closure & compliance
• Monitoring the compliance to regulatory & statutory requirements and ensuring that a legal tracker is maintained and necessary escalation is done for timely renewal of licences. 
• Ensuring that the hospital meets all the requirements under environment safety and social governance program of the organization
• Coordinating with the clinicians, nurses, technicians and admin staff to ensure the implementation of QMS in the hospital
• Ensuring adherence to monthly Quality review program & incident reporting including timely reporting of sentinel events
• Ensuring patient’s rights are upheld in the hospital and any violation is reported to the Unit head and Corporate quality head as per the policy
• Ensuring smooth conduct of NABH & other accreditation related assessment of the hospital by external bodies and timely submission of required closure
• Mentoring junior staff in the department
• Driving training programs as required by various accreditation bodies and Corporate office for different categories of the staff
• Any other responsibilities entrusted by functional head at the corporate from time to time.
