Quality Inspector

Job Description

Role Summary: The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring product quality at every stage—from receiving to final inspection—by adhering to company standards and ISO 9001:2015 procedures. The role involves inspection tasks, maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring workplace discipline, and actively contributing to continuous improvement and team goals. Key Responsibilities: Product Inspection: Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Ensure delivery of defect-free components to customers. Quality Compliance: Follow work standards, visual displays, and ISO 9001:2015 procedures. Ensure rejected parts are moved to the Non-Conformance (NC) area. Workplace Standards: Maintain 5S and good housekeeping. Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required. Tool & Equipment Management: Keep gauges, instruments, and hand tools in good working condition. Ensure personal tools/documents are not used by others without permission. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in team activities (CFTs). Suggest improvements and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Use consumables efficiently and responsibly. Coordination & Reporting: Support departmental goals through coordination and tracking of quality metrics. Required Skills: Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring instruments. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015. Basic understanding of CAPA and quality documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
