Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Analyze requirements and create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts and identify test cases for automation
Conduct basic API testing and validate responses, status codes, and data accuracy
Perform basic performance testing to identify bottlenecks and stability issues
Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps
Maintain test documentation and follow up on bugs until closure
Communicate testing status, risks, and issues with stakeholders
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality delivery
Support basic team coordination and guide junior testers when required
Apply strong logical thinking to identify root causes and suggest quality improvements

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts
Experience with Automation Testing tools and frameworks
Basic understanding of API Testing
Knowledge of Performance Testing concepts and tools
Expertise in test case design and execution
Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools
Familiarity with GitHub / version control systems
Good communication and documentation skills
Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team
