Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Quality Engineer QA/QC (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems at project sites as per company standards.
• Ensure that all construction activities adhere to quality standards, specifications, and safety norms.
• Conduct inspection and testing of

  structural works (RCC, formwork, reinforcement, concreting)

  and

  finishing works (plaster, tiling, painting, etc.)

  .
• Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, method statements, checklists, and material approvals.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor compliance of work with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct internal audits and site quality walk-throughs.
• Maintain records of test results and prepare quality reports.
• Verify contractor's work to ensure alignment with contract and regulatory requirements.
• Suggest preventive and corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Train site staff and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.

Key Requirements:

• B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum

  8 years of QA/QC experience

  in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of

  IS codes, NBC, QA/QC standards, and safety regulations

  .
• Experience in both

  structural

  and

  finishing phases

  of construction.
• Proficiency in quality management systems, site documentation, and report generation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to relocate/work at Mumbai or Delhi project sites.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with reputed contractors or real estate developers.
• Certifications in QA/QC or related quality management tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mivan/Shuttering technology in high-rise construction is desirable.
